Located in the spa town of WeiHai in China, the masterplan is inspired by the surrounding majestic topography of mountainous landscape.

By introducing a “crystal mountain” spine of intensified programs that run through the site, a central zone of recognisable and iconic buildings create the focus for the new township.

A sense of place is created with the extensive use of water and green, rejuvenating the central zone and created a memorable streetside experience within this new spa town.
